Markets, portfolios and technology

Exploring how data, research and better tools can improve investment decisions.

Open to full-time opportunities in investment and portfolio roles across fixed income, credit, private markets and investment analytics. Based in Frankfurt and open to relocation.

Before moving to Germany, I spent almost four years in International Markets & Investments at the State Bank of Pakistan, working with sovereign reserve portfolios through the pandemic recovery, the global inflation shock and the monetary-tightening cycle that followed.

I recently completed the Master of Finance in Capital Markets at Frankfurt School and am a CFA Level III candidate. During the degree, I worked at Allianz Investment Management—first in Investment Analytics & ESG and later in Private Markets.

Working across these settings made me increasingly interested in how data and quantitative methods can improve investment decisions—where they add value, where they fall short and where judgement still matters.

More about my background

Experience

Allianz Investment Management SE

Investment Analytics & ESG Intern · Private Markets Working Student

Worked across investment analytics and private markets, first supporting analysis of Allianz insurance portfolios and later monitoring a €230 million climate-focused portfolio of 17 funds and seven co-investments. The role brought together portfolio review, due diligence, valuation analysis, data quality and reporting automation.

Centre for European Transformation

Graduate Research Assistant · Frankfurt School

Researched private-credit funding and the financing of Europe’s economic transformation. My work combined a company-level study of 62 US private-credit firms with analysis of European productivity, infrastructure investment and sovereign risk.

State Bank of Pakistan

Investment Analyst · International Markets & Investments

Worked in sovereign reserve management through the pandemic recovery, the global inflation shock, the tightening cycle and a period of acute FX liquidity pressure. Across approximately USD 10 billion of internal reserves and USD 2 billion of external mandates, the role combined Investment Committee analysis, fixed-income and liquidity positioning, external-manager oversight and execution.
